Genealogy by the States – Week 41 – Montana
This week’s blogging prompt is the State of Montana. Blog about an ancestor or your families connection to Montana. If you don’t have any connections to Montana, find a Montana resource useful for genealogy research to highlight and write about. This week’s prompt runs from 10/13/2013 – 10/19/2013. If you choose to follow along, I would appreciate a mention to the Hidden Genealogy Nuggets website.

I do not have any family connections to Montana, so I will highlight one resource instead.
The Montana Memory Project has a wonderful collection of online information. This website contains military enlistments for servicemen between 1890 and 1918, World War I, World War II. There is also an interesting array of diaries, letters and other publications.
If you have Montana relatives, be sure to check out this on-line resource.
