Genealogy by the States – Week 36 – Nevada
This week’s blogging prompt is the State of Nevada. Blog about an ancestor or your families connection to Nevada. If you don’t have any connections to Nevada, find a Nevada resource useful for genealogy research to highlight and write about. This week’s prompt runs from 9/8/2013 – 9/14/2013. If you choose to follow along, I would appreciate a mention to the Hidden Genealogy Nuggets website.

My only link to the state of Nevada is through a second cousin one time removed. We both descend from John Charles Sanders and Mary Clark Tripp of New Britain, Connecticut. Since she may still be living and I have not been able to contact her, I will leave her name off of this post. She was married for the first time in 1948 in Reno Nevada.

I’m glad I found this blog. I have a board on pinterest about different resources in the states. So far I have about one resource for each state. I will be following your weekly blogging prompt. A great idea!!
