This is my great grandmother Mary (McGovern) Fox. She was from County Leitrim, Ireland. She never immigrated to the United States.

    Wonderful photo! Any idea around what year it was taken?

      There are some indications that the photo was taken in the 1890s but that’s not proven. She was born in about 1856 which would make her about between 35 & 45 in the 1890s. The woman does seem to be that age to me.
